The members of ‘All Parties Development Committee’ Block Arnas, abserved hunger strike at Nayabat Arnas for not fulfilling the demands of the Committee, which include creation of tehsil, up-gradation of High school to the level of higher secondary school.
According to hand out of the committee ‘Wazir Commission has recommended setting up of tehsil at Arnas, even the Chief Minister in District Development Board meeting held on April,26,2004 at Udhampur said, that tehsil status for Arnas will granted, but till date no action has been taken by the authorities.
Chairman of the Committee, Kuldeep Raj Dubey in a statement had said on April 28 complete rally was taken out in the town also.
