| Indifferent attitude towards Gujjars, Bakerwals alleged | | | Nowhere April
Bashir Khan, Member Gujjar and Bakerwal Advisory Board and local Nambardar of village Kampla Modh criticized the state government and the local MLA Dr Ramesh Chander Sharma for their indifferent attitude towards the Gujjar and Bakerwal community.
Making a scathing attack on Sharma for his anti-Gujjar attitude , Khan said that the power scheme which was sanctioned for the Kampla Modh, mostly inhibited by Scheduled Tribe community, was got shifted to another place at the behest of the MLA.
He also alleged that no development work worth the name has been taken up in the area and has appealed to the Chief Minister to personally see the situation on the ground. He said like the previous governments this government too has adopted discriminatory attitude with the community living in twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch.
