| LeT militant’s body recovered from Mahore area | | | Jammu April-26 The body of LeT militant was recovered in Shadaul East of Mahore in Reasi district today, while a GREF vehicle collided with a mini bus at Dharmari resulting injuries to 15 persons. A Defence spokesman said here today that based on own information, the Army launched an operation in general area of Shadaul,10 Km North East of Mahor, to apprehend the militants. The forces blocked all the routes and started search operation and during the search, some civilians informed the troops that a body of a terrorist was lying in a nearby Nallah and took it into their custody. The deceased ultra has been identified as Bashir Ahmed @ Abu Samama of Shadaul. The terrorist active since 2002 was working for LeT outfit. The spokesman said that the operation was still in progress when the last reports came in. He said that in the meantime, 15 people sustained minor injuries, in an accident between the GREF and civil mini bus NO JK02R-8184 that took place in general area on Arnas-Dharmari-Mahore road. The GREF vehicle is reported to have rolled down about 100 metres down. Immediately after hearing about the accident, a column of 61 RR launched rescue operation and provided first aid to 15 persons, who had sustained minor injuries in the accident. The mini bus was carrying 24 passengers, however, there was no casualty, the spokesman added.
