| IPP to announce candidates for 8 Assembly constituencies | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 30: Independent People's Party (IPP) will announce first 8 Candidates for the upcoming state assembly elections. This was stated by the party president Aqib Shah through an official statement. The statement said that the party will soon declare its candidates for 8 constituencies which included Jammu east assembly segment, Gandhinagar, Jammu west, Rajouri, Mendhar, Surankote, Haveli and Doda.
Statement further stated that there will be all possible efforts for complete expansion of the party in every nook and corner of the state. Aqib Shah also admitted the fact of party having an extremely short span of time to expand its electoral ambit considering that the party was launched in May 2014 and there is'nt much time left for the elections to take over. He further added that the party will contest to win and not just to leave an impact and that is the lone reason behind a slow process of decision making that is being carried out with regard to finalization of candidatures. |
