| Greater Mahajan Sabha to establish vocational centre | | | Jammu April 27 Greater Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (J&K) is going to establish a vocational centre very shortly to offer training in various trades to the young generation within the community. The objective of the setting up of the centre is to make the poor and needy person to become self reliant, informed Kundan Lal Gupta president of the association. Addressing a press conference, Kundan Lal Gupta president of the above said association highlighted the projects undertaken and aimed to uplift the down trodden and underprivileged members of the community in last four months since its inception on January 7 this year. President of the association also highlighted the ideology and preaching of the Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan and Mahajan Shiromani Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, who had worked for the upliftment of the community within state. During the proceedings of the press conference, Gupta also mentioned the various schemes introduced by the new Sabha for the welfare of widows, orphans and other. In the end he said, the new vocational centre for which he himself had donated the building will be inaugurated by Minister for Health and Education Mangat Ram Sharma, who has consented for joining the inauguration ceremony. Besides, minister for health other prominent persons who have given their consent to be present on this missionary initiative will be Minister for Social Welfare Haji Nissar Ali and Ved Mahajan, MLC from PDP as special invitees. He was flanked by the other executives members of the association during this press conference.
