| High Court orders major reshuffle, promotions in state judiciary | | | Jammu, April 27
Jammu and Kashmir High Court today ordered another major reshuffle in subordinate judiciary, while approving promotions of eight Sub judges to the post of session judges.
The orders were issued in a full court meeting, under the chairmanship of Chief Justice (Acting) Justice Nissar Ahmed Kakru), held here on Friday. This is the second reshuffle in the state judiciary in less than a month.
As per the order issued today eight Sub Judges have been promoted as Adhoc Sesssions Judges at various places across the state.
Duni Chand Sagotra has been posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge Kishtwar, while Rashid Ali Dar has been posted as Additional Judge TADA/POTA Court Srinagar.
Vinod Chaterji Koul, presently Deputy Registrar Judicial High Court Jammu wing, has been posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge Kathua, Muhammad Yousuf Akhoon has been posted as Second Additional District and Sessions Judge Srinagar and Sanjay Dhar, presently CJM, has been posted as secretary Legal Aid Authrity State High Court.
Puneet Gupta has been posted as 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge Jammu, Mohan Lal has been posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Leh and Muhammad Akram Choudhary has been posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge Ramban.
Besides issuing the promotion orders of eight sub-judges the court also transferred ten district and session judges posted in various courts of the state.
BL Bhat Principal District and Sessions Judge Kathua has been transferred and posted as Presiding officer Industrial Tribunal against available post, Altaf Hussain 2nd District and Sessions Judge has been transferred and posted as Additional District Judge Bank Cases Srinagar, SK Jamwal Principal District and Sessions Judge Bhaderwah has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Kathua and BM Gupta Additional District and Sessions judge Bank cases Jammu has been transferred and posted as district Judge Leave reserve High Court Jammu wing.
Hari OM Singh Presiding officer POTA/TADA Jammu has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Bhaderwah, Ahmed Ullah Malik Additional District and Sessions Judge Kishtwar has been transferred and posted as District Judge leave Reserve High Court Srinagar wing, Hasmat Hussain Shah Additional Judge TADA/POTA Court Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Additional District Judge Doda, Shakti Kumar Gupta Additional District Sessions Judge Ramban has been transferred and posted as Additional District Judge Bank cases Jammu, Gopi Krishan Pandita 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge Jammu has been transferred and posted as PDJ Poonch and Sanjay Gupta Principal District and Session Judge Leh has been transferred and posted as 3rd Additional D&S Judge Jammu.
Following the promotion of Sub Judges, the High Court issued transfers and postings of Sub Judges to fill up vacancies created by the promotees.
As per the order Rajesh Sekri, CJM Kargil has been transferred and posted as CJM Rajouri, RK Wattal Sub-Judge Batote has been transferred and posted as CJM Udhampur, Sanjeev Gupta Sub-Judge Katra has been transferred and posted as CJM Jammu, Kikar Singh Parihar CJM Doda has been transferred and posted as Leave Reserve High Court Jammu wing, Ajiaz Ahmed Mir CJM Budgam has been transferred and posted as CJM Srinagar and SK Bhagat Sub-Judge Reasi has been transferred and posted as CJM Doda.

The High Court also ordered transfers and posting of eight Munsiffs posted at various places in the state. As per the order Senior Munsiffs have been promoted temporarily as Sub-Judge in the pay-grade of 12850-17550 and adjusted.
According to this order Masrat Shaheen Munsiff Chadoora has been posted as Sub-judge Bijbehara, Riaz Ul Haq Mirza Munsiff Shangus has been posted as Sub-Judge Kulgam, Dubey Munsiff Hiranagar has been posted as Sub-Judge Kargil, Mehmood Ahmed Choudhary Munsiff Kala-Kote has been posted as Sub-Judge Surankote, Kamlesh Pandita has been posted as Sub-Judge Ramnagar, Ranbir Singh Jasrotia District Mobile Magistarte Kathua has been posted as city-Judge Srinagar, Sarfaraz Hussain Munsiff Dooru has been posted as sub-judge Vailoo and Masrat Roohi Munsiff Ganderbal has been posted as forest Magistrate Srinagar. All the Munsiff has been posted as Sub Judges temporarily, the order reads further.
Similarly, thirty Munsiffs were also transferred and adjusted. According to a separate order, sources told News Agency of Kashmir, Ashwani Kumar, Munsiff Kathua, has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Jammu, Kusum Lata Pandita, Additional Munsiff, has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Bishnah, Deepak Sethi Sub-Registrar Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Chenani, Ajay Kumar Munsiff Leave Reserve High Court Jammu wing has been transferred and posted as District Mobile Magistrate Traffic Udhampur and Gowhar Majeed Dalal Munsiff Shopian has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Duroo.
OM Parkash-I Munsiff Chenani is transferred and posted as Sub-Registrar Srinagar, Javaid Ahmed Jeelani District Mobile Magistrate Sopore has been transferred and posted as Additional MM Srinagar, OM Parkash Thakur, Munsiff Jammu has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Kathua, Naushad Ahmed Khan District MM Poonch has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Leave Reserve high Court Jammu wing, Muhammad Ashraf Bhat Munsiff Kulgam has been transferred and posted as District MM Anantnag (He has also been asked to attend the regular work of Munsiff Court Damhal Hanjipora till further orders), Anoop Kumar Munsiff Bhasoli has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Samba and Farooq Ahmed Bhat Munsiff Aishmuqm has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Anantnag.
Yash Pal Sharma Munsiff Budgam has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Hiranagar, Khurshid-ul-Islam Munsiff Dangiwacaha has been transferred and posted as MM Sopore (He has further been directed to attend regular court of Dangiwacaha for 3 days in a week till further orders), Arti Mohan Munsiff Bishnah has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Udhampur and Iqbal Masoodi District MM Traffic Anantnag has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Chadoora.
Renu Dogra Munsiff Reasi has been transferred and posted as Addl Munsiff RS Pura, Sudesh Sharma Addl Munsiff Samba has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Reasi, Adnan Syed Addl Munsiff Chadoora has been transferred and posted as District MM Traffic Poonch (He has further been directed to attend the regular work of Munsiff court Mendhar for two days in a week till further orders) and Dinesh Gupta Munsiff Sunderbani has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Kalakote.
Parveiz Iqbal Munsiff Rajouri has been transferred and posted as Addl Munsiff Samba, Prem Sagar District MM Traffic Udhampur has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Gandoh (Bhalesa), Yahaya Firdous Ahangar Munsiff Anantnag has been transferred and posted as Munsiff leave reserve High Court Jammu wing, Javaid Ahmed Naik Munsiff Tarhal has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Aishmuquam, Muzaffer Iqbal Khan Munsiff Mendhar has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Budgam, Manzoor Ahmed Khan Munsiff DH Pura has been transferred and posted as District MM Traffic Rajouri, Manjeet Rai Addl Munsiff RS Pura has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Sunderbani and Muhammad Amin Mir Addl MM Traffic Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Munsiff Ganderbal (He has been further directed to attend the regular work of Munsiff Court Kangan for two days in a week till further orders).
Sheikh Javed Alam Munsiff Pampore shall also attend the regular work of Munsiff Tral for two days in a week; Abdul Qayoom Mir, Munsiff Bandipore and Aijaz Ahmed khan Munsiff Chrari Sharief have been directed to swap their places of posting. (NAK)
