| Tarigami for accelerating pace of work on Mughal Road | | |
Srinagar, April 27 (
State Secretary CPI(M) and MLA Kulgam Mr. M. Y. Tarigami has appealed Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad to give fillip to the construction of prestigious Mughal Road Project. He said that the work on the project is on snails pace.
Mr. Tarigami said that the people of the state particularly Shopian, Poonch and Rajouri have high expectations on the opening of this traditional route. He said this route will act as a new trade link between South Kashmir with Jammu via Poonch, Rajouri and open employment opportunities for the unemployed youth.
Mr. Tarigami asked the administration to provide adequate potable drinking water, power supply to rural areas of the Kashmir valley. He also demanded early repairs of rural links.
