JTC expresses concern over deplorable condition of Jagti township

Jammu, Aug 1: Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front today expressed concern over deplorable condition of Jagti town ship. According to press release a meeting of inmates of the township was held under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita President JTC wherein threadbare discussions were held about the burning problems of the Migrants. Pandita said that State Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is hell bent to destroy the Kashmiri Pandits and hence playing conspiracy to destroy them while as there is 14-16 hours power cuts are being imposed in the Jagti Migrant Camp affecting old aged and students and particularly. But the Chief Minister has been the mute spectator over the issue and while as three times we have drawn the orders from High court to be provided with uninterrupted power supply and add that the Government is deliberately doing the Human right violation with the Migrants. "One hand the policy is being played NC in order to vanish the migrants at Jammu and at the other hand our property and religious places are being grabbed in Kashmir valley and it is our desire to return to Valley but the Kashmir Pandits are being harassed by the Government as well as their agents and also some anti national elements who are dancing to the tune of Pakistan about which the Chief Minister is well aware of the policies, but has been the mute spectator", he said, adding that they have already submitted a Memorandum to the Government of India that three satellite towns be developed in one place near Srinagar City where the migrants be settled and moreover we may be compensated with 25 years of loses/exile.
He also demanded enhancement of Monthly Cash Assistance from Rs. 6600 to Rs. 15,000, Employment for un-employed Youths, On spot recruitment in the Police be initiated at Jagti Migrants immediately, at least 2000 posts be created/sanctioned for those who could not continue their further studies after Matric due to acute paucity of financially resources and Uninterrupted power supply be supplied as per the Hon'ble High Court order at Jagti Camp Nagrota.
