| Charak reviews National Highway road projects | | | Jammu, April 27
A high level joint meeting was held today to review the newly proposed upgradation road projects for Kunjwani to Bari-Brahamna under the chairmanship of Minister for Roads and Buildings Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak.
The meeting was attended by Secretary R&B Mr. Shalindera Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Mr. Pramod Jain, Chief Engineer R&B Jammu Mr. M. M. Sharma, representatives of National Highway Authority and other senior officers and engineers of the department.
After thorough deliberations, the meeting decided that another meeting would be held under Divisional Commissioner Jammu with concerned executing agencies on May 2 and also a joint inspection will be done on the proposed sites on the same day and after this a detailed report would be submitted to the Minister.
The meeting also reviewed the upgradation work on National Highway road from Vijaypur to Kunjwani particularly on the trouble spots of this road stretch.
The Minister directed the traffic authorities for proper regulation of traffic on these spots so that people would not face any inconvenience. He also directed National Highway Authority of India to speed up this upgradation work for its timely completion
