| Jamat-e-Islami organises Ithad-e-Milat conference | | | Rajouri,April 27— Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu And Kashmir organised a one day conference at border district, Rajouri here to day. The aim and objective of the conference was to educate the Muslims about the teachings of Islam and to discuss the emerging world order against the Muslims in particular. Besides, the Islamic scholars of different sects like Sunni and Shias from the state of Jammu and Kashmir, the conference was also addressed by some prominent scholars from out side the state. Most of the speakers in the conference urged upon the Muslim community to be united as per the teachings of Islam and Prophet Mohammad. Giving reason for organizing a big conference at this border district, head of the management Ameer Mohammad Shamsi said that though the main focus of organizing this conference in this region was to educate the Muslim community that there is no place for those in Islam who indulge in the groupism and other sects. Speaking on the occasion Shamsi said “ it very unfortunate that the Muslims in this border region have got divided as Gujjars, Paharies and Kashmiris . And they feel proud to be called with their sectarian identification instead of an Islamic identification”, said Shamsi. For this, he held some government agencies , Mullahs and politicians responsible. Other speakers who spoke on the occasion also expressed their concern over the increasing sectarianism and other groupies in the Muslim society terming it as a biggest cause of the defeat of Muslims in the world. The conference in its end also unanimously passed memorandum urging upon the government to stop the Human rights violations. The memorandum also condemned the five minority killings sometime back in Kalakote area of Rajouri district and demanded an impartial investigation of the incident pointing that the killing is still a mystery and fingers also being raised towards the government agencies . The prominent among those who spoke on the occasion were Moulana Ajaz Aslam, Abdul Hamid Fayaz of Madrass, Moulana Muneer Hussain Jaffri of Poonch, Qari Manzoor Hussain, Mir Abdul Salam and A R Fida.
