| First Children’s Summer Theatre Workshop inaugurated | | | Jammu, Apr 28— 1st Summer Children’s Theatre Workshop of the year was inaugurated here today. Since 1992 Natrang is doing Children’s theatre in Jammu but in the year 2004 it started a full fledged children’s weekend club which works around the year with an exception of a break of one month in March every year. Natrang is the first group in the country which is widely traveled with children’s plays and has participated almost all the major children’s National events. Speaking on the occasion Balwant Thakur said that theatre has the amazing power to bring an all-round change in a human being an particularly in children. This is the high time that people of Jammu should persuade the schools and institutions to start theatre as one of the optional subject in the school curriculum, he said. Theatre and arts are the most developed techniques of human and personality development and empowers a person with lot of confidence and sharpens of mind. The participants of the workshop included Sanchit Singh Wazir, Mokesh Veer, Rishab Gupta, Aarushi Gupta, Shaitya Sharma, Kibria Nasir, Ankul Arora. Arayaman, Pankul Arora, Neelanjali Kanotra, Amish Amis Rohmetra, Prachika Kanotra, Aaneesh Gupta, Sonilka Jain, RishabveernSingh Rudra Pratap Singh, Avishi Arora, Ankshaj Arora, Somditya Jain and Gauri Thakur. The workshop is being coordinated by Neeraj Kant assisted by Deepak Virdi Mohit Sharma, Kamaljeet Kaur, Gaurav Jamwal and Rohit Verma.
