| PK gives 7 days ultimatum to Director School | | Shortage of teaching staff at Jagti | | Education JAMMU, Aug 10: Panun Kashmir has expressed serious concern over the unavailability of the teaching staff in the Government High School, Jagti and Government Higher Secondary School, Jagti. As per press release, members of the Panun Kashmir said that shortage of teachers is affecting the educational standard of the schools and posing a grave threat to the learning and education of the Kashmiri Pandit students in these schools. The students are already facing immense challenges and continuing their education amid inhuman conditions as the electricity ,water and other essential services are almost negligible in the Jagti Concentration camp, which the administration projects as the satellite township, they said. Instead of being responsible and having a sense of duty towards the student community who are the future of the community and the nation teaching fraternity seems to be insensitive towards delivering their duties, they alleged. To highlight this grave problem a high power delegation of Panun Kashmir ,Jagti unit led by its coordinators Chand Ji Pandita, Raj Kapoor, Ravi Zutshi, Sanjay Raina called on Joint Director Education (Migrant Cell) and Joint Director School Education(additional charge) at their office in Muthi, Jammu. The officers assured the delegation that they will look into their grievances and act as per the norms.
