early Times Report KATHUA, Aug 10: Irked over power crisis, the farmers of Kathua town today held protest against state government.Leading the farmers, PDP youth leader Jodh Singh Saini today said that the Omar Abdullah led coalition government has failed to over power crisis prevailed in state.Condemning Chief Minister of state, Saini said that government has failed to provide the required electricity supply to the people of the Andhad area including Nagri, Saidpur, Goondh, Kokhyal, Jakhbar and many others where farmers are residing and facing draught like situation due to power crisis. He said mostly area gets blackout with the absence of power due to which the people are forced to face the reptile bite threats also in which mostly children and old aged persons are at risk. "About this gruesome condition, the PDD is totally staying at far away and never seen interested to take the problem of the area seriously and left the innocent population to face miseries", he said.
