| Social activist donates book bank to GHSS Pahalgam | | |

ANANTNAG, Aug 10 : Continuing its efforts for promoting the education among the economically backward and educationally deprived masses in Phalgam, noted social activist and civil society member, Mushtaq Pahalgami on Saturday donated book bank to Government Higher Secondary School Pahalgam.
Donated Book bank included entrance books and supplementary material for the youths interested in qualifying the country's prestigious competitive examination (IAS) Indian administrative service besides state's top competitive examination (KAS) Kashmir Administrative service.
On the occasion, Social activist Mushtaq Ahmad Pahalgami entrusted upon students to get maximum benefits from the book bank and help the society in eradicating the social evils and poverty.
"Ours wish is to make this paradise (Phalgam) a hub of intellectuals and literate people who can lead the Kashmir society in brining a change on all fronts whether it is moral, economic or social change." Pahalgami told the students, while urging them to utilize the book bank in brightening their own future besides of the state.
Principal Government Higher secondary School Pahalgam, Mohd Afrooz Baba endorsed the efforts of the social activist who had earlier donated computers to several other schools and Madrass in the area.
