| Residents of Bagtali road demand bridge | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Aug 10: A portion of Bagtali road was swept away today in a flash flood which delinked the village from rest of Kathua here today. Residents demanded construction of a small bridge in place of slab and provide a fair communication in between Kathua and the area. While expressing their great resentment against the slab constructing agency, they alleged that this slab is damaged in every rainy season and the continue flowing of water still in its position even after stopping of rain as over flown Ravi river's water also added in this flow, said by a resident Bashir Ahmad. He said that when this slab gets swept away a gap comes up which cannot be crossed easily resulting school going students, office going employees and even entire movement gets badly affected. The residents urged the District administration to take this problem into it notice so that a permanent way could be evolved.
