| Two road accident victims succumb | | |

Jammu, Aug10 : A youth victim of road accident undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) succumbed today.
The deceased has been identified as Raman (22) son of Rashpal Chand of Patli Morh Samba.
Police sources said that Rashpal received injuries on Saturday when the motorcycle he was riding on collided with a car at Channi Himmat. He was immediately shifted to Gandhi Nagar hospital and after treatment doctors referred him to GMC&H for advance treatment where he failed to respond the treatment.
Police have already registered a case under sections 279 and 337 of RPC and after the death case was converted to 304A of RPC while further investigation is this regard is on.
Meanwhile, another road accident victim identified as Inklab Chowdhary son of Mohd Qasim Phangal, of Rajouri who received injuries in a road accident in Thannamandi last week succumbed today.
Both the bodies were handed over to family members for last rites and cases have already been registered at concerned police stations.
