Panun Kashmir disassociates with RTC declaration
4/29/2007 11:45:58 PM
JAMMU, APR 29

Disassociating themselves from the 3rd roundtable conference declaration, two factions of Punan Kashmir today joined together on one plateform and denounced the joint declaration made at the conclave in New Delhi on April 24.

"We have disassociated ourselves from the RTC joint declaration and we denounced it. Our confidence building measures (CBMs) have not been addressed to in the RTC at all," Presidents of two Panun Kashmir factions, Agniskahker and Ajay Charangoo told reporters here.

The issues of the KPs was discussed in RTC, but nothing substantial was incroporated in joint declaration of the RTC and the leadership is not satisfied at all, they said.

While neglecting the political and social demands, RTC focussed only on the employment of community, which they seemed was only issue before the KPs, they said.

It is disgusting that the slogan of honourable and dignified return for the displaced Pandits is now given for the terrorists across the border, said Agnishekhar.

The issues concerning the community have been clubbed with terrorists who waged a war against the nation, he added.

Much weightage was given to economic package of 4,000 terrorists waiting across the border instead of us, they said, adding, the government failed to address the issues raised by the pandit leadership which is for constitution of inquiry commission to probe the core issue of exodus.

Ridiculing the statements of making Line of Control irrelevant, Chrangoo said, it was irresponsibility on the part of government in view of the increasing anarchy in Pakistan day by day.
