Jammu, 29 April, 2007: Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Private Limited (HCCBPL) today announced the names of the 10 winners of the Under-The-Crown promotion scheme. The promotion was launched in February’ 07 and received tremendous response. In all, there were 45 eligible claimants who collected all the four parts of the bike under the crown. The winners were selected through a lucky draw. The winners included Kubir Singh Guru Simran Store Trikuta Nagar, Jai Shankar Malhotra Mohalla, Mulkgraj Karyana Store Digana, Highway Cafeteria Udhampur, Padam General Stores Bishnah Raju Sweet Shop, Surinsar, Sahni General Stores Nanak Nagar, Sharma sweet Shop, Akhnoor, Coke Point B C Road and Verma Provisional Store, Gandhi Nagar The bikes were presented to the winners in a glittering ceremony held at Hotel Ritz Manor. The lucky draws were taken out in the presence of Add Secy Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Mr J L Bhagat and deputy director Weights and Measures Mr Prabhakar who were the chief guest and guest of honour on the occasion. Deputy Controller Legal Metrology, Mr. Amar Singh also graced the occasion. Speaking at the Lucky Draw function, Mr. Pankaj Thapliyal, General Manager -Area Operation, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, said, “Coca-Cola has always created excitement in the market through its products and promotions targeted at consumers and trade. The latest promotion is again aimed at creating the buzz amongst the trade and reward performance in the market place. We are very encouraged by the response”. The UTC scheme was launched on 22 Feb and the scheme generated a huge interest amongst the retailers and created a lot of excitement in the trade. Meanwhile, HCCBPL also announced the winners of the promotional schemes such as Bhagidari and Dhoom Dhamaka for the retailers. Under these two innovative sales schemes, there were assured prizes as well as opportunities to participate in the lucky draws. Among the two, Bhagidari was rolled out on 24 Feb 2007 and continued till 27 April 2007 while Dhoom Dhamaka was rolled out on 17 March 2007 and ran up to 25 April 2007.
