A meeting of youths hailing from districts or Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban was held under the banner of United Kishtwar Doda Ramban Youth Federation (UKDRYF) here today in the Jammu University campus. A large number of scholars/students of the districts participated.
The meeting discussed various problems being faced by the scholars/students of the said area. It was resolved that main agenda of the U.K.D.R.Y.F will be to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood in the campus. The meeting urged the Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu to provide Hostel facilities to all the students belonging to these areas in the university premises to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood among the youth in general and scholars /students of Jammu university in particular.
The peace march will start from Fountain Plaza near Central Library at 11.00 Am on 1st May.
Prominent among those, who addressed the meeting were Satya Bushan, K.D. Singh, Sajid Hussain, Bakhtar, Zahid, Fayaz, Pradeep, Sudesh, Satish, Arun, Jahangir, Rabia, Ravi and Irfan Goni.
