| Militants hurl grenade at Municipal chairman's residence | | |

Unidentified persons believed to be militants hurled a grenade at the residence of Chairman Municipal Committee Ganderbal at Bamloora Ganderbal causing minor damage to the House. However, no loss of life or injury to any one was reported.
Sources told News Agency of Kashmir that unidentified persons lobbed a grenade towards the house of Chairman Municipal Committee Gh. Mohd Lone this afternoon. All the inmates and the chairman are safe as no loss of life or injury was reported.
Immediately after the incident police cordoned the area and launch a man hunt to nab the grenade attackers. However, no arrests were made till the last reports came in
