| DDC reviews working of education sector | | |

District Development Commissioner, Farooq Ahmed Renzu today reviewed the education sector of the district in an officers meeting held here today. Besides, Chief Education officer 12 zonal education officers, principal and head masters of schools also attended the meeting.
The meeting was briefed about the working of the various educational institutions functioning in the twelve Zones of the district and the measures undertaken by the department under the Sarva Siksha Abiyan to improve literary rate in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the DD C called upon the functionaries to work with Zeal and dedication, as education serves as a basic building block for overall improvement and development of the society.
