Inter-college chess tourney of JU Commerce College men face GGM in final 8/21/2014 11:05:13 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 21: Government SPMR College of Commerce shall take on GGM Science College in the title clash of men's inter-college chess tournament, organised by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Edcuation, University of Jammu, here tomorrow. Earlier, in the semifinals, played today, Commerce College outplayed Government MAM College 3-1. The Results: Navjot Singh bt Nikhil Dhawan, Taranjeet Singh bt Nitname Singh, Rachit Gupta bt Shivam Mahajan and Rashpal Singh lost to Ankush Choudhary. In the second semifinal, Science College trounced the combined side of Post Graduate Departments of JU 3-2 in a close contest decided through best versus best game.
