| DC lays foundation stone of primary school | | |

Deputy Commissioner (DC) J.S. Pachnanda today laid the foundation stone of Primary School Gulpur. The School is being constructed by SEEDS, a International N.G.O., which came to Poonch after Earthquake of October 8, 2005 which had caused devastation in the area.
Manager SEEDS, Romesh told that temporary sheds in 40 villages of Poonch besides three Pacca houses have also been constructed by them in village Jhullas, Gulpur and in Poonch city. SEEDS is also providing training to the masons to construct houses using anti-earthquake technique to avoid damages during earthquake. A large number of villagers and Sarpanch of the area also present on the occasion.
