| Jammu, Aug 22: MLC Ravinder Sharma has asked authorities to ensure a free and fair probe in to the firing incident involving killing of a policeman Sanjay Singh and two sisters in Kalakote area, few days back. According to a statement issued here today, Sharma spoke to higher authorities of the police department to leave no efforts to dig out the truth behind the incident, to instill confidence among the family members, relatives and people of Bhajnoa and other areas in Nowshera-Kalakote. Sharma had earlier visited the residence of late Sanjay Singh in village Bhajnoa in tehsil Nowshera a Police personal posted in Kalakote, who died due to bullet injuries besides other two real sisters. The police initially claimed his death as a suicide, but the family members and people have suspected foul play and leveled serious allegations. Sharma said that justice should not only be done but appear to have been done. Hence high level probe be held and details of final investigations should be shared with the family members and prominent persons of the locality |
