| Man found dead after alleged abduction by his kin | | | Syed Tahir Bukhari
Wagoora, Aug 22: In a gruesome incident a man was found dead after he was allegedly kidnapped by a relative in Nagbal area of police jurisdiction Chandoosa, while in another incident four persons were arrested for alleged breaking in of private school Building in Wagoora of Tehsil Kreeri of district Baramulla in North Kashmir on Friday. According to sources that one Javid Ahmad Parra s/o Ghulam Rasool Parra went out to scare away wild animals from the maize field along with licensed 12 bore gun with his relative Mohammad Ibrahim Tantray s/o Saif Ud Din Tantray of Nagbal Chandoosa on yesterday late evening."Javid Parra didn't return back to his home, following which his relatives started searching for him and during the search the family members today found the body of Javid Ahmad Parra this morning in the nearby Maize field, sources said. Locals of Chandoosa later informed police about the incident that the dead body of a villager is lying in nearby maize filed.Local police have registered a case against FIR no 26/2014 u/s 302/ RPC in Police Station Chandoosa and furher investigation is on in this matter. During preliminary investigations it surfaced that the duo had left from their homes on last evening to scare away wild animals from the maize field along with licensed 12 bore gun of the relative while Ibrahim Tantray whow as accompanying the deceased is absconding and police has started a manhunt to nab him. Meanwhile in another incident four burglars cum extortionists were arrested by police station Kreeri at wagoora in Tehsil Kreeri of district Baramulla According to sources, "During the intervening night of Aug 21/22 four persons attempted to loot the private school Kirmainya English Medium Wagoora. "Identified namely as Bilal Ahmad Mailk, Nayeem Ahmad Mir, Sijad Malik all residents of Wagila Wagoora and their accomplice planned to steal computers and other costly items from the school. Acting on a specific information a team headed by SHO Kreeri Ghulam Nabi arrested all the four persons and recovered a bike and 4 duplicate AK-47 guns from their procession.Police has registered a case under FIR NO 64/14, the group reportedly was active in the area for quite some time and are involved in different incidents of burglary and extortion posing themselves as militants by wielding toys of AK-47. |
