Jammu, Aug 22: The Indian Army has found a 50-metre-long tunnel running from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir into the Indian territory near Chakla post in Jammu and Kashmir's Pallanwala, sources has said.
Additional troops have been brought in and the area has been cordoned off.
The Army is now trying to find out the use of this tunnel, whether it was used to carry out infiltration or to smuggle weapons into India, sources added.
The area has seen a spurt in infiltration attempts and cross border firings. |
