DDC reviews R&B sector

To review the financial achievements made under R&B sector for raising infrastructure of various departments, District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Mr. Rafiq Ahmed Sheikh convened a meeting of engineering wing of R&B here yesterday.
The meeting was informed that under this sector the allocated funds were completely utilized for construction of works of various departments during the last financial year. It was informed in the meeting that the department was allotted an amount of Rs. 1072.29 lakh which stood expended in full.
The meeting was informed that Rs. 302.70 lakh have been incurred under R&B followed by Rs. 54.78 lakh under NFB, Rs. 75.56 lakh under health, Rs. 12.25 lakh under fisheries, Rs. 7.50 lakh under Sheep and Animal Husbandry, Rs. 3.92 lakh for Gujjar and Bakerwal Rs. 12.51 lakh were spent under education sector.
The meeting was further apprised that under NABARD, an amount of Rs. 750 lakh was released against which Rs. 310.87 lakh were expended.
Expressing satisfaction over the achievements made under various sectors by the R&B, the DDC called upon the officers to work with same zeal and devotion so that the benefits of the expenditure could reach to the people as per their needs. He cautioned that work should be result oriented and there shall be no compromise on the quality of works.
