| 2 injured in mishap | | | Jammu, April 01 Cleaner of a truck died on the spot and two others were wounded after it skidded off the road on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Udhampur on Tuesday afternoon. Official reports revealed that the truck JK02T-1073 was on its way from Srinagar to Jammu when it met with the accident at Chanpuri near Udhampur. The truck rolled down into a 100 feet deep gorge killing cleaner of the vehicle on the spot and injuring two others including the driver, an official spokesman told News Agency of Kashmir. The identification of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately. Injured Gagan Preet (driver) son of Janat Singh of Ajjet Nagar Jammu and Inderjeet Singh son of Jarnail Singh of Baramulla were shifted to Udhampur hospital, where their condition was stated to be critical.
