| Farooq predicts fall of coalition | | | Jammu, May 1 Chief Patron National conference and former Chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah today predicted that coalition in the state is going to collapse any time after declaration of Utter Pradesh Assembly election results. Taking to media here today the NC chief Patron said that infighting within state coalition has defunct the functioning of the government about which centre is well aware. Given this situation there is every likelihood that coalition would not survive the tug of war within any longer, he said adding "I think every thing would become crystal clear after the UP polls. He said instead of solving issues of public importance, the coalition partners are keeping themselves busy in public rallies. Having spent three terms as chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Abdullah for past some time has once again started taking keen interest in the state politics. Abdullah had virtually resigned from the state politics after handing over the leadership of the party to his son Omar Abdullah soon before the last Assembly elections which witnessed overthrowing of NC regime after more than twenty five years.
