| 9 Bangla Nationals arrested | | | Jammu, May 01 Army arrested nine Bangladesh nationals from a house in Bari Brahmna area in the outskirts of Jammu city, here on Tuesday. Sources said that on specific inputs a team of army from Ratnochak army camp raided a house in Bari Brahmna area, this afternoon and arrested nine Bangladeshi's, who had allegedly reached Jammu to attempt ex-filtration from International Border. The arrested Bangladeshi's were taken to Police station but police refused to take their custody, sources said. A large number of Bangla nationals are being arrested along the International Border in Jammu, every month. Sources said that these nationals are being brought by an agent operating from Punjab on the promise that they will be taken to Pakistan. However, after bringing them to Jammu these nationals, mostly from Labour class, are left at the mercy of God and they usually land in police custody or get killed while trying to ex-filtrate to Pakistan side. At least six unarmed Bangladeshi's were killed on April 8, 2007 when they allegedly tried to cross over to the other side of border in the R S Pura Sector.
