| Mendhar, Aug 27: Two soldiers were injured, when they inadvertently stepped in on a abandoned mine in Sabjian area of Mandi Tehsil of Poonch. The incident took place at about 11.45 am today and both the soldier were rescued to a army hospital at Poonch. The injured soldiers have been identified as Hav Chet Bahadur Thapa of Gorkha regiment and Ashok Kumar of 40 RR . Both the units have been manning the Line of Control and fence in the area and , according to army sources it was an abandoned mine that could have came out of the ground due to torrential rains. |
