| Sumberiya for education to all sections of society | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Aug 27: An awareness drive was launched at Christian Colony Udhampur under the leadership of social activist Ajaz Sumberiya who sought support of public in general to make education affordable to all sections of the society.
Sumberiya demanded to implement Right to Education Act (Amendment 2013), to implement SRO 123, to bring reforms in education sector to make education affordable to every section of society including private institutions & government institutions as well. Sumberiya added that its need of the hour to change the scenario as education has become a business and providing quality education in the current time has become a challenge for most of the parents. Sumberiya advocated for the implementation of SRO123 strictly & implement "one time admission fee in private institutes to make the education affordable. He appealed all political parties, social organizations and the people of state to come under one umbrella to fight this agitation. |
