| JK Milchar Front demands upgradation of primary school | | | Jammu | May 2 A meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Kuldeep Kumar Rao, General Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir Milchar Front. In the meetings held at Joura Kalan, Budhi, Suranga, Kunthal, Shamdlian and Ghuroo, the front demanded the construction of Khara-Jai road that was promised by the Chief Minister at the inauguration ceremony of the Kandi Canal at Malanoo on Apr, 11. “Our illaqa has remained neglected right from1948. Azad is the first Chief minister to have given due consideration to our genuine demand”, said Rao. According to press release, the people of these villages demanded upgradation of primary school of Joura Kalan to middle level which is a 57-year old Primary School. The site of the school is the central most place of the locality with 3 feeding Primary Schools around it. Middle School Joura Khurd which has been ingenuily upgraded is situated at the top corner of he hill on which these two villages (Kalan and Khurd) exist. The site is far from being a central place. Rao appealed Chief Minister that keeping in view these points, immediate orders for the upgradation of the P/S to the level of Middle School be kindly issued So that the Children of the said villages don’t suffer any further.
