An exhibition of ‘Floral compositions’ by Shasti Rattan, will be inaugurated on May 5 by minister for roads and buildings, Gulchain Singh Charak at Subash Art Gallery, Gandhi Nagar.
Shashi Rattan in a brief talk with the media, prior to the exhibition said,” All art, be it painting, music, dance, theatre, even literature is basically form of expression and added for me, it has been an effort to find some moments of sanity in the chaos of life”. She further said it provides respite in a stressed and multi-tasking routine. Process of artistic creation, for me is a state of joy and bliss. In one of the paintings tilled-‘TENACITY’, she has used the aerial roots of a Banyan tree.
