To commemorate the occasion of ‘Budhh Purnima’, a function was organized at Budh Vihar, Bishnah.
Vice president, JKBWA, Rashpal Bhasa was the chief guest while Ex DC R L Sangral was also present on the occasion..
Cutting across religion, thousands of devotees thronged the occasion and paid their obeisance to Lord Buddha. Speaking on occasion, Rashpal emphasized on the masses to follow the teachings of lord Buddha and practice the principle of “Ahimsa’. The programme was organised by Youth Development Committee (YDC), Bishnah under the chairmanship of Prem Nandan. Gurvinder Lakhotra, President, Dr Jodhraj and some other members of YDC were also present on the occasion.
