Doda, Aug 30: Pensioners Association Doda today held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Akther Hussain Gattu and discussed their long pending demands.
In the meeting members of the association highlighted their demands including release of 10% DA wef 1.1.2014, Payment of 4th installment of 6th pay commission, Enhancement of Medical allowances to the tune of Rs 1000 PM, Payment of 6% DA pending from 1.1.2009 to 30.6.2009 5, Enhancement of pension to 20% , 30%, 40%, 50%,&100% in favour of pensioners who have completed the age of 80 ,85, 90, 95,100 years as per the pattern of central govt. The meeting was addressed by Shakeel Ahmeed, Dav Ram, Gul Mohd Thakur, Ab. Rehman Gattu, Romal Singh, Attullah Gatto, Ab.Rehman Wani, Nasar Ahmed Gattoo, Gh. Hassain Pampuri & Dharm Singh Chark. |
