8/31/2014 10:55:03 PM
Early Times Report

Udhampur, Aug 31: Residents of Udhampur town today held a protest against the Railway Ministry and local administration for their failure to address the grievances of the public travelling via DMU train.
Several youth of the town with Sarpanches had gathered at Railway Station to meet the Station Superintendent but they were stopped by the police.
Locals rued that travelling via DMU has become difficult as with the local passengers the rush of tourists from outside the state is unexpected and the same has become a concern for the daily travelers.
Eve teasing and harassing by residents of other state has become a problem for the daily travelers and despite repeated complaints nothing has been done so far in this regard. They appealed higher authorities to depute escorts with each boogie and increase in the number of boogies in the local DMU train.
