| LIC completes 58 yrs of service, launches 'Jeevan Shagun' | | | | Jammu, Sept 1: Life Insurance corporation of India has completed 58 years of its services to the Nation on the eve of its 58 anniversary the corporation on Monday launched its new product 'Jeevan Shagun'. Speaking on the occasion, Senior Divisional Manager, Srinagar Division D C Thakur told media persons that a new product 'Jeevan Shagun' has launched. Thakur said that it was a closed ended single premium multiple benefit money back plan with provision of loyalty additions which is available for 90 days only. He communicated to the media persons about the performance of the Srinagar Division that the division (which covers entire state) has completed more than 36000 polices while procuring 67 crore of fresh premium in the current financial year as on August 31, 2014, in addition to Rs 55 crores premium in pension and group schemes. |
