| Kashyap Rajput Sabha demands implementation of Mandal Commission Report | | | Jammu | May3 All J&K Kashyap Rajput Sabha has described the present coalition government as anti-backward class as it has no program or policies for actual and real backward classes. While addressing media persons, Brij Mehra, senior president demanded 27 % reservation for socially and educationally backward classes as per the recommendations of the Mandal Commission. Vaishno Dutt Dogra, general secretary of the Sabha speaking on this occasion demanded amendment in SRO 294 of 2005 by excluding the reservation of resident of backward area and resident of actual line of control from the category of socially and educationally backward classes. Sham Lal Mehra, warned the government to consider their demands and implement the mandal commission report otherwise OBC people will fight for their genuine rights. President of the Sabha, Rakesh Kumar announced that Sabha will immediately start some schemes for the upliftment of the community in the Sabha premises. He also assured the general masses of the community that the Sabha will provide necessary assistance to the needy people of the community. The others who attended the meeting included Sain Dass, Ramesh Tak, Subhash Mehra, Tillak Raj , Rajinder Kumar, Raghubir Singh Ram Chand and Devi Dass.
