| Contractual engineers call off strike, to hold rally | | |
Jammu, May 5
In light of the pursuance of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) president Khursh Alam and its convener, Muntiazir Mohl-ud-Din, All J&K Contractual Junior Engineers Association has decided to call off the strike which was scheduled to be held on 7th & 8th of May 2007.
However as assured by the EJAC, All J&K Contractual Junior Engineer Association will hold a joint rally at Press enclave on 8th of May, 2007 at 11:00 am with active participation of all EJAC leadership including its president Khurshid Alam, in order to remind the previous and the present Chief Minister’s of the Coalition Government about their time to time assurances given to the EJAC.
The association has called for active participation of all the contractual Junior Engineers.
