| SS workers hold protest demonstrations against Centre’s weak, contradictory policy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU AUG 7 Jammu and Kashmir Shiv Sena (SS) workers organized protest demonstrations across Jammu region against the wrong and controversial policies of the Central Government towards Pakistan. The workers held protests at several districts and town of Jammu region and took out protest processions denouncing the Centre for its soft policy towards Pakistan. Reports about such demonstrations have come from Udhampur,Vijaypur ,R S Pura , Marh, Bhalwal, Kathua . A large protest demonstration was held at Ranipark here which after passing through various bazaars including RaJ Tilk Road, Moti Bazar, Pacca Danga, Chowk Chabutra, Link road, Jain Bazar, Purani Mandi, Basic School and Old Hospital road culminated at city chowk. Addressing the protestors, Shiv Sena General Secretary Ashok Gupta lashed out at Prime Minister for not taking strong and specific steps to solve the present tension created by Pakistan. The policy of the Centre is quite contradictory, he said adding that while Prime Minister advocates for no peace talks with Pakistan following serial bomb blasts at Mumabi but at the same breath his foreign secretary Shyam Saran maintains that the peace process would continue at any cost. He maintained that India has no clear and specific foreign policy towards Pakistan to end the menace of terrorism due to which the people continue to suffer.
