| SPO dies mysteriously in PP, Police claims accidental death | | |

A Special Police Officer (SPO) posted in Police Post (PP) Pallanwala today died mysteriously inside the Post last night. Several apprehensions were laid on the mysterious death of the cop. Meanwhile, Police officials have claimed that cop was killed accidentally after falling down from the roof top of PP while performing sentry duty.
According to reports, today at around 2 in the morning, a SPO namely Brij Kishore, also a retired Army man, found dead under mysterious circumstances in the PP. Several apprehensions were laid behind the cause of his death but nothing could be ascertained as Police officials were also tight lipped on the matter.
Later Dy SP Akhnoor, Atul Sharma said the cop was fallen down from the roof of the Police Post while performing Sentry duty. Later the body was handed over to the family members of the deceased cop for performing last rites after postmortem.
