Thirty seven gujjars and bakerwals sustained injuries when a truck they traveling in turned turtle in Chanderkote town on National Highway-IA this morning. Out of the them, 12 critically injured were shifted to Soura Hospital in Srinagar while others were discharged from PHC Chanderkote after treatment.
According to reports, a truck (JK02F-0727) carries a group of gujjars and bakerwals from Rajouri to Srinagar via Jammu turned turtle resulting into injuries to 37 of them. The injured were immediately shifted to PHC Chanderkote. Out of 37 injured, 12 were shifted to Soura Hospital in Srinagar in view of their critical injuries. They were Zarina Begum, 45, wife of Din Mohd, Zakir Hussain, 45, son of Din Mohd, Sharifa, 40 wife of Mohd Riyaz, Goni, wife of Latif, Julekhe, wife of Bashir Ahmed, Sabina , daughter of Gulshad, Abdul Gaffar, 48, son of Bashir Ahmed, Bua, 55, wife of Abdul Aziz, Junaid, 26, daughter of Miyan, Idrees, 30, son of Latif, Parveena Akhter,19, daughter of Mohd Din and Sakina, 30, wife of Gaffar all residents of Kanthol, Rajouri.
Meanwhile those discharged after giving treatment were Mohd Shabir, 25, son of Rashid, Hafiza, 40, wife of Yaqoub, Hamida Bano, 13, daughter of Yaqoub, Rifta, 12, daughter of Manzoor, Shahzeen, 8, Yaquob, Mansha, 10, daughter of Gulsher, Massam Jan, 15, wife of Shabir, Naseema, 30, wife of Manzoor, Munfaka, 9, daughter of Abdul Qayum, Masrookha, 30, wife of Abdul Qayum, Nusrat Bano, 18, daughter of Mohd Amin, Mohd Altaf, 25, daughter of Mohd Din, Naseema, 20, wife of Mohd Altaf, Bashir Ahmed, 70, son of Jamal Din, Qasim Jan, 55, wife of Miyan, Mohd Taj, 30, son of Yusuf, Khaliq Hussain, 27, son of Miyan, Parveena Begum, 30, wife of Akhter Hussain, Naseema, 20, wife of Shabbir, Irshada, 8, daughter of Shabbir, Sharifa, 19, wife of Mohd Sharif, Mohd Bashir, 18, son of Masool, Shafiqa, daughter of Gulsher and Shehnaza, 12, daughter of Shabbir Ahmed all residents of Kanthol, Rajouri.
