| 22 liquor bottles seized from shop, shopkeeper held | | |

Twenty bottles of liquor illegally kept in a shop were seized and the shopkeeper was taken into custody at Lamberi under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nowshera in Rajouri. Meanwhile, a bootlegger was also arrested with 12 pouches of illicit liquor in Kathua.
According to reports, police today carried out a raid in the shop of Chaman Lal, son of Ram Charan of Lamberi, Nowshera and seized 22 bottles of liquor kept illegally in the shop. He was immediately taken into custody and case in this regard was registered in Police Station Nowshera. Meanwhile, a bootlegger identified as Ajit Kumar, son of Dhuni Chand of Chak Draba, Kathua was arrested with 11 pouches of illicit liquor. He was also booked by police.
