| Girl attempts suicide | | |

A young girl identified as Rubeena daughter of Ghulam Mohd. Shiekh of village Nazneem Pura tried to commit suicide late last night at her residence. Noticing for deteriorating condition, her family members took her to near by district hospital for treatment.
Doctors at the hospital washed her stomach and later on referred her SMHS hospital, Srinagar for further medical treatment. As per lost report, she is battling for her life and doctors were trying their best to save her life. The reason behind taking this step is not know yet police is investigating the matter.
Meanwhile, SDM of the area in a surprise raid in the district hospital found 25 employees absent from duty, which included few doctors also.
A case of their absence from duty has been referred to Director, health services, Srinagar for necessary action.
