| BMP announces party candidate for Vijaypur constituency | | | Samba, Sept 14: Bahujan Mukti Party on Sunday announced party candidate for Vijaypur assembly constituency. According to press release, Jeet Ram Atri State President, State co-ordinator Ashok Verma announced the name of the candidate for the assembly elections at the special meeting from Vijaypur Assemble constituency.
Bahujan Mukti Party discussed in detail the crisis arisen due to the sixty years all time high rainfall and the losses occurred due to that. V.K. Dogra Gen. Sec. of the party said that this rainfall has created havocs in the whole state in which hundreds of villages, houses precious lives of peoples and animals have been lost.
Ashok Verma appealed to the central governments as well the state to come to their rescue without any waste of time by providing them financial as well as others aids. He appealed to state govt. and central government should provide five lakh per family. He further urged upon National Disaster Management Authority to pay compensation to the state for losses sustained due to heavy rainfall with respect to collapsed houses and damaged infrastructure. |
