| Integrated Handloom Cluster Development Scheme | | | JAMMU, MAY 07 To ensure synergized and consistent support to handloom weavers through various focused interventions from central government, two clusters viz Kathua and Billawar in Kathua district and Nadihal and Bandipora in Baramulla district have been identified from J&K state under Integrated Handloom Cluster Development Scheme. According to Director Handlooms Development Department, Jammu the clusters so developed will not only emphasize on removing bottlenecks presently faced by the cluster but also help to make the handloom products more competitive in the local as well as international market. The diagnostic study of these clusters begins from today by NABARD Consultancy Services Mumbai.
