| All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum highlights their demands | | | Jammu | Aug 7 All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum has warned to intensify its struggle in favour of their demand to implement the running pattern in the pay scale of 8000-13500 at par with other counterparts in the state. Forum also highlighted its various other demands. H D Qureshi, President of the Forum, while addressing a press conference expressed his satisfaction in achieving the goal of the removal of three decades old problem of pay anomalies but, regretted that the benefit of running pattern has not been extended in favour of Plus 2 Cadre. He expressed serious concern over the delaying tactics by the authorities at the helm of affairs despite clear directives from the State Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad, nothing has been done. Forum also highlighted the issue of pay anomalies of Principals and higher officers which still exists in the cadre. Qureshi advocated for the implementation of Government Guidelines for private coaching and stressed upon maintaining the uniform pattern instead of harassing the members of cadre. Gurcharan Singh, General Secretary of the forum while speaking on the occasion expressed reservations over the presence of college teachers in the education board. He also expressed determination of the Forum to intensify its struggle for removal of college teachers. Others who also spoke on the occasion were D P Dutta (Vice President), Ranjodh Singh, Charan Dass etc.
