Provincial president, National Conference, Ajay Sadhotra, has said that the coalition government is surviving only on hollow slogans and the ground realities are quite different. He said this while addressing the meeting of District Committee Office bearers of Ramban District and Block presidents of Banihal Assembly constituency which was held today.
Sadhotra also mentioned that the infighting among the coalition partners is not a hidden issue now as sharp differences among the coalition parterres are in the media and before the people of Jammu and Kashmir and people are looking towards National Conference.
Sadhotra Said “ National Conference is committed to uplift remote and hilly area people of the state and in this connection major project were launched during the National Conference government which has been shelved by the present coalition government””.
During the proceedings of meeting the block Presidents of Banihal constituency apprised Provincial President about their various problems in their respective areas like shortage of essential commodities, shortage of teaching staff in educational institutions, frequent unscheduled power cuts due to which the people of these remote areas are in miserable condition. It was also brought to the notice of the Provincial President that the link roads of these hilly areas are in dilapidated condition and essential commodities are not being transported to remote areas due to bad condition of the roads.
The Provincial President assured the participants that their problems would be taken up with the concerned authorities. He asked the office bearers of this remote district to work unitedly and strengthen the hands of party leadership.
The meeting was also addressed by Sheikh Bashir, Vice-President, Sajjad Ahamad Kichloo MLA, Dr. Chaman Lal MLA, Th. Kashmira Singh Ex-MLC and Anila Shaheen District President. Among others who were present included; Akhtar Malik, .Alif Din, Mond
