Residents of Roun stage protest demonstration 9/19/2014 11:00:54 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Sept 19: Residents of Roun today staged protest demonstration against Power Development Department (PDD) to restore electricity at Roun Panchayat. According to press release, Romesh Atri resident of Roun said that 400 KV transformer was damaged due to flash flood. It's unfortunate to hear the helplessness and failure of PDD to restore electricity in more than 100 panchayats of Udhampur , if they are unable to restore electricity within 1 km radius what we can expect in remote areas of district. Atri further said that the agitation would be continued if department didn't meet their demands to restore the electricity service in Rount area Sumberiya.
